Local inspirational author, Phil Timp will visit The University of Virginia’s College at Wise on Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. to meet with those in attendance and to sign his autobiography.
The event, which will be held in the Dogwood Room of the C. Bascom Slemp Student Center, is sponsored by the UVa-Wise Nursing Department.
Dakota Hill was installed as the Student Government Association president Tuesday during Convocation 2013 at The University of Virginia's College at Wise, and Kevin "Nate" Large was installed as chair of the Honor Court.
