Murder Mystery Dinner
On Saturday, February 16th, we will gather together for an evening of good food, sparkling conversation, and murder at the Adrian home in Wise. Further details (including theme) to follow.
Spring Trip: Raleigh, NC
On Friday, April 5, we will travel to Raleigh, NC to view a Titanic Exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science. This special traveling exhibit, meant to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of this most famous ship, displays more than 200 artifacts retrieved from the wreck site of the Titanic and also includes lavish re-creations of the ship’s interior. While in the Triangle Area (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill), we will also visit other sites and attractions, including the UNC campus, Duke botanical gardens, a local art museum, and the fabled Krispy Kreme factory in downtown Raleigh. We will return to Wise on Sunday, April 7.
Roller Skating Outing
Join us on Friday evening, March 1st for an excursion to Kingsport’s very own Skate City. We’ll lace up our classic leather rental skates and carve graceful counterclockwise arcs around the rink while the slightly outdated dance music pulses all around us. On the way home we’ll stop by Bojangles for iced tea, biscuits, and chicken (or a suitable vegetarian alternative).
