Honors Program

The Peake Honors Program is open to UVa-Wise freshmen with an academic GPA of 3.5 or above and combined SAT scores of 1200 or better. Offering special Honors Seminars that emphasize intensive study and discussion, the program culminates in a senior-year capstone project of interdisciplinary independent work. Among honors seminars offered in the past: Social and Political Thought, The Good Life, Man in Nature, and Seminar on American Culture.
