Parking Lot Rules & Regulations

Highland Cavalier Football Season 2012

Red and Gray Parking Lot Permit holders are subject to the following rules and regulations.

Parking Permit entitles holder to:

Ø      One Parking Space in the Red & Gray Parking Lot.

Ø      One Parking Space = One Vehicle or One Tent.

Ø      Parking Permits are to be visibly displayed on Rearview Mirror or Tent, At All Times.

Ø      Bring alcohol into the lot inside of vehicle. Alcohol will be BYOB. 

Entering the Red and Gray Lot:

Ø     Gates will OPEN 2 ½ Hours prior to Game Time. No Exceptions.

Ø     Each vehicle entering the lot must have a Red and Gray Parking Lot Permit.

Ø      If you forget your permit, you will not be able to enter the Red and Gray Parking Lot. 

Ø      Parking spaces will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Ø     Holding or Blocking Parking Spaces for others is not allowed.

Ø     Open Flame Fire-Pits and Generators are prohibited.

Virginia ABC Rules of the Red and Gray Lot:

Ø      Virginia Law requires individuals to be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol.

Ø      Consumption of alcoholic beverages is ONLY permitted in the Red and Gray Parking Lot.

Ø      You are responsible for ensuring that any person drinking alcohol at your tailgate is of the legal drinking age (21).

Ø      Underage drinking will not be tolerated. Individuals drinking or supplying alcoholic beverages to individuals under the legal drinking age will be subject to a ticket and/or arrest.

Ø      Virginia ABC Officers and UVa-Wise Campus Police reserve the right to check for appropriate identification from any individual in the Red and Gray Parking Lot.

Ø      Alcoholic beverages in glass containers are prohibited.

Ø      Kegs are prohibited.

Ø      We strongly encourage that alcoholic drinks be poured into colored-plastic cups.

Any violations of these regulations may result in immediate suspension of your parking privileges.
