Fall 2012 Semester Theater Opportunities
Informational Meeting- August 23rd, 7PM in the Gilliam Ctr. Theater
Come meet other students interested in theater and learn more about majoring in theater, this semester's plays and the rehearsal and audition process. Backstage and Acting opportunities available. All majors welcome. Course credit Available (Participation in a Theater Division Faculty productions can count toward your Arts or Humanities General Education requirements. Course registration required)
Auditions-
Auditions for Fall Theater Productions will take place: August 27th & 28th @ 7PM in the Theater of the Gilliam Center for the Arts.

Scenes will be provided for auditioners to read. Additional theatrical/ improvisational exercises may be expected. Callbacks may take place during the week following auditions if necessary. Prepared auditions (in the form of 2 contrasting one-minute monologues) are welcome, but not required. |
Musical Auditions- Phantom of the Opera
Auditions for Phantom of the Opera will take place: October 21 @ 2PM in the Choral Classroom of the Gilliam Center for the Arts. Audition materials (scenes and music) available in the main office of the department of visual and performing arts. Please complete the audition application in advance of you audition.

Fourth Annual 'Some Assembly Required Theater Festival'
All students are invited to submit entries to be considered for participation in the 2012 Some Assembly Required Theater Festival. Further information can be obtained from mkh2e@uvawise.edu.
