Spring 2014 Theater Performances:

    • All performances in the theater of the Gilliam Center for the Arts
    • Tickets are free for UVa-Wise Students, Staff, and Faculty
    • Tickets are 5$ for the general public of all ages
    • Tickets are sold beginning 30 minutes prior to showtime and are issued on a first come/first serve basis. Tickets may not be reserved.   

  Angels in America: Millenium Approaches  by Tony Kushner

  • "A Gay Fantasia on National Themes"
  • Winnner of the 1993 Pulizer Prize for Drama
  • A story of political and personal power, destruction and redemption in the AIDS crisis of 1980's America.
  • This play contains mature content dealing explicitly with complex human questions about sexuality, orientations, moralities and political power.
