Payment Options
The Bookstore offers its customers a variety
of payment options. Purchases may be made with cash,
personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover .
The Bookstore also offers other payment options which
are explained below.
CAVS
Card Debit System
UVa-Wise students,
faculty and staff may deposit monies in a debit account
(at the Cashier's Office) that can be accessed with
the CAVS Card (official College ID). The system allows
for 'just like cash' purchases in The Bookstore and
the Dining Hall.
Student
Charge System
This system
allows currently enrolled full-time UVa-Wise students
to charge up to $500 each semester in The Bookstore.
All purchases must be made prior to December 1 for the
fall semester and April 1 for the spring semester.
