UVa-Wise student’s first book to be featured in March 26 book signing event

Cody Dalton, a student at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, will hold a book signing on Wednesday, March 26 at the campus bookstore in the C. Bascom Slemp Student Center. Dalton will sign copies of his first book, “Sideline Warriors: The Greatest Sports Coaches and Managers of All Time.”

The book profiles legendary coaches such as Vince Lombardi, Mike Krzyzewski, John Wooden and Pat Summitt. Dalton offers a look at the lives of some of the greatest coaches and managers in the history of sports, off of the field and court.

Dalton is a senior communication major from Pulaski who serves as assistant sports editor for The Highland Cavalier student newspaper.

The book signing will begin at 3:30 p.m. Copies of Dalton’s book will be available to purchase in the campus bookstore.
