Highland Winds rehearsals begin Aug. 25 at UVa-Wise
Rehearsals for the Highland Winds, the campus and community instrumental ensemble at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, will begin Aug. 25.
The Highland Winds ensemble plays an expansive mixture of concert band literature. Membership is open to community members and college students who play traditional band instruments and who have an interest in band music.
The Highland Winds rehearse each Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Wesley Foundation across from the main UVa-Wise campus.
For more information, contact Director of Bands Richard Galyean at 276-328-0235 or rdg3y@uvawise.edu.
