Spring 2009 Student Art Show now open at UVa-Wise

The Spring 2009 Student Art Show is now open at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and will run through May 6.

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts sponsors the annual event, whose theme this year is “Out of the Basement.”

Pottery and painting pieces may be seen on the lower level of Darden Hall. Photography, printmaking, illustrations and drawing pieces are displayed at Crockett Hall. Tyger Williams’ “A Little Bit of Therapy” artwork is displayed in the Chapel of All Faiths. The Senior Art Exhibit may be seen on the fifth floor of the C. Bascom Slemp Student Center.
