College Night set for Sept. 14 at UVa-Wise

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise invites area high school students from Wise County and the city of Norton to attend College Night on Monday, September 14.

College Night activities take place on the fifth floor of the C. Bascom Slemp Student Center from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.

“College Night is a great opportunity for area students to discover the many educational opportunities available to them,” said Rusty Necessary, vice chancellor for enrollment management at UVa-Wise.
Representatives from more than 40 regional and state colleges will be available to answer questions regarding admissions, academic programs, athletics and other interests. Parents are encouraged to accompany students to the event.

UVa-Wise Campus Police and UVa-Wise Student Ambassadors will direct visitors and assist with any needs.
