2009 UVA-WISE FOOTBALL PARKING ALERT

Due to ongoing construction of the College's new Convocation Center, game day public parking has been relocated.

Parking near Carl Smith Stadium will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The only parking available near the stadium will be at the practice fields and Vanover Street. In inclement weather, parking in these areas will be further limited.

ADA parking and parking for "Red and Gray" permit holders will remain at the stadium. Only those displaying their ADA (handicapped/disabled) tags or license plates as they approach the entrance to the stadium will be admitted to the ADA parking area. Those with "Red and Gray" parking permits must also prominently display their permits as they approach the stadium entrance.

All other parking will be relocated to the main campus. Visitors may park at the gym, softball and commuter parking lots.

Shuttle service will be provided from these three lots on the main campus to Carl Smith Stadium.

For Saturday home games, shuttle service will be offered from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For the evening game on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m., shuttle service will be begin at 5 p.m. and continue until approximately 30 minutes after the game.

Visitors to campus are encouraged to look for changing traffic patterns, signs and detours.

Be sure to arrive early and, most importantly, enjoy the games. GO CAVS!
