UVa-Wise alumni invited to annual meeting April 12

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise Alumni Association will hold its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 12, at 6 p.m. at Alumni Hall located off Darden Drive, across from the main UVa-Wise campus.

During the meeting, Linda Quillen Dishner, immediate past-president and chair of the Nominating Committee, will present the slate of candidates for the 2005-2006 Alumni Board election. Available positions for officers include treasurer and president-elect; five Alumni Board member positions are also available. Additional nominations may be made from the floor during Dishner’s presentation. Treasurer Ed Roop will provide a financial statement and Alumni Director Valerie Lawson will make an annual report. A reception will follow the business meeting.
