13th Annual Jam-4-Man kicks off May 5 at UVa-Wise
The University of Virginia's College at Wise will play host to the 13th Annual Jam-4-Man concert in the Betty J. Gilliam Sculpture Garden May 5-6.
Admission to the concert is free; however, organizers request a canned food item, which will be donated to the Hope House.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday night, concert-goers will be treated to original music by four bands. Unusual Suspects will take the stage at 6 p.m.; followed by Bad Fathers at 7:30 p.m. Chindarkline will perform from 9 to 10 p.m. with headliners The Wedding wrapping up the night at 10:15.
Saturday, May 6, will be devoted to cover bands. Rob Monahan will kick off the night at 6 p.m. with covers of contemporary music. The band Basket Case will entertain with older songs from Green Day. At 7:45 p.m. Wannabeezer will perform Weezer cover songs. Basket Case will take the stage once again at 9 p.m. to play newer Green Day tunes. The last band of the night will be AC/DC cover band Sin City at 10:15 p.m.
