AWP Summer Writing Classes

Join us for a wonderful professional development experience. Using writing strategies in the content area helps students become more involved in their own learning process. They engage their imaginations, synthesize information, and explore and analyze theories. They delve into the reasons behind situations and concepts. This class will explore effective writing techniques used in content area classrooms. The class leader will share ideas and invited presenters from the Appalachian Writing Project will focus on effective techniques they use in their classrooms. Classroom members will also share best practices. (College credit is awarded as Fall 2014 credit due to the follow-up session being during the fall term.)
