Biography:

Mr. Simeon E. Ewing currently holds a joint appointment serving as Vice Chancellor for Finance and Government Relations for the University of Virginia’s College at Wise serving as the College’s Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, he is the University of Virginia’s Director of the Southwest Office of the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. During his tenure at UVA-Wise, he has overseen twenty construction projects.

Mr. Ewing is a past Chairman of the SACUBO Small Institution’s Committee and currently is a member of the NACUBO Small Institutions Council. Prior to joining the University, Mr. Ewing was the Town Manager of Wise, Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University and Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University.
