The UVa-Wise Men's Basketball Program has a strong tradition of success both on and off the court. The coaching staff works hard to recruit outstanding student-athletes who share the values of UVa-Wise. While winning is important, the overall development of the player to function in an ever-changing world is a key component. Being a competitive UVa-Wise men’s basketball player means learning how to handle a demanding practice schedule while being successful with the rigors of academics. Team members will learn how to rise to the challenges by demonstrating their character, integrity, dedication and commitment to their personal and team goals. In addition, team members volunteer within the community and are well-respected members of the college family. Alumni and friends can help the team succeed by making annual gifts of every amount.

Contributions have an important impact on our Men’s Basketball team by providing:

• scholarships that will help our extraordinary students to succeed in the classroom and on the court. As we prepare to compete in an even more competitive league, additional scholarship funds will assist us in recruiting the best possible student-athletes to represent UVa-Wise men’s basketball
• appropriate equipment (such as basketballs, nets)

• online by following the link below - this link will take you to the University's website and you will simply indicate the amount that you want to contribute to UVa's College at Wise Foundation (under the “school funds” category) and in "Other" indicate that the gift is for UVa-Wise Men’s Basketball.
