Annual Fund

There are many reasons the annual fund is so important to The University of Virginia's College at Wise, but two stand out.  First, it is largely unrestricted, which means your gift can go directly toward the bottom line for projects and programs the chancellor deems essential but not otherwise funded.  And second, annual giving is just that--annual. By making contributions from year to year, alumni and friends provide a reliable stream of support for academic and student-life programs and encourage others to give as well.  State funds and tuition alone do not meet the cost of educating today's students. 

 Annual Fund Class Council & Advisory Committee

The Class Agent Program is a tradition that started several years ago at UVa-Wise. Each of the alumni classes has at least one class agent volunteer who works to stay informed about the happenings at the College in an effort to communicate with fellow classmates to raise awareness of the need for financial support for the College.     

With support from UVa-Wise development staff, the Annual Fund Class Council Advisory Committee promotes the importance of annual unrestricted contributions to the Annual Fund. These volunteers have also committed to making an annual gift in support of the College's efforts.
