Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
The University of Virginia's College at Wise, a four year, public liberal arts college in southwest Virginia, invites applications for the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position reports to the Athletic Director and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations, layout, supervision and safety of the strength and conditioning facility. Additional responsibilities include: program planning; fiscal and personnel management; maintaining close communication with coaches and athletic trainers; event management at assigned events; supervision of work-study and volunteers; and the possibility of teaching 6 hours/year in an academic discipline based on need. The successful candidate will be involved in additional duties as assigned by the director of athletics.
A bachelor's degree is required and a masters degree is preferred. Successful collegiate level experience strength and conditioning is required. Compensation for this position includes a competitive salary with an excellent benefit package.

Athletic Trainer
The University of Virginia’s College at Wise invites applications for an Athletic Trainer. This position is responsible for ensuring that student athletes receive proper evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries; assisting in the supervision of training room facilities; assisting with the College's athletic insurance program; may teach 6 hours each academic year; and other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, as well as NATABOC certification, Virginia license, or eligibility to receive a Virginia license. Experience with college athletics is preferred. Successful candidates will also possess good communication skills, knowledge of and ability to comply with OSHA standards, the ability to teach courses, the ability to handle insurance claims, and knowledge of athletic injuries, prevention and rehabilitation.

Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years successful coaching experience in the sport of lacrosse. A master's degree is preferred, as well as successful collegiate coaching experience.

Meeting & Events Coordinator
The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for a Meeting & Events Planner at the Southwest Virginia Technology Development Center, located in Lebanon, VA. This position will be responsible for coordinating all events for the SVTDC. This will include scheduling facilities; negotiating rental costs with clients; ensuring adequate staffing for events; tracking expenditures, collecting fees and maintaining necessary financial records; budgeting and planning for events; overseeing the daily facility usage; and developing and planning commuinty outreach programs for the SVTDC.

Administrative Assistant

Assistant Director for Administrative Systems
The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for an Assistant Director for Administrative Systems in the Office of Information Technology. This position will report to the Director of Administrative Computing and will function as the College's secondary MS SQL database administrator. This position will be required to create customer SQL reports, support users, conduct user training and develop scripts for campus portal and web server integration operations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related computer systems information field is required, as well as at least 2 years experience in SQL database administration and report writing and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Programming skills in SQL and report writing skills in a reporting tool such as Infomaker is required, as well as experience in user support, software training and documentation.

Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
