These programs are especially great for those students with interests in the arts or sciences.  Students will have vast opportunities to explore the natural surroundings that Australia has to offer including the Outback and The Great Barrier Reef.  In order to ensure the student of a perfect experience, the traveler will be able to work with an advisor assigned to them through the Australearn programs.  This advisor will be the students insight into the universities, in order to pick the best match, as well as aid them in the duration of the trip in anything from travel information to city life and culture.  Also, through this advisor, will come the planning of costs and payment of expenses.  With the partnership of Australearn and UVA Wise comes much opportunity for financial assistance in any of these trips.  The program itself offers a variety of scholarships; likewise, any funds the student would normally be awarded through FAFSA can be put towards the trip.  For more information come by the International Programs office, room 105 in Darden or check out the Australearn website:  http://www.australearn.org
