Technology Support : Accounts and Services

The Office of Information Technology administers and issues accounts to many different computer systems at UVa-Wise.  Below is a brief summary of accounts and how to have an account created or reset.  In addition to accounts, we provide other services such as voicemail.

Computer Logon & E-mail Accounts
To obtain a username & password to use computers on campus or to access your UVa-Wise e-mail account you can visit the Helpdesk in Darden 110.  If you have forgotten your password you can also visit the Helpdesk to have your password reset.  A photo id is required to obtain an account or have a password reset.

Moodle Information

Mailing Lists (list servs)
Many various mailing lists (list servs) are available for faculty, staff, students, and organizations to subscribe.

Web Hosting Accounts
If you are faculty, staff, or a student at UVa's College at Wise, or represent an organization affiliated with the College, you may request a Web Authoring Account using this form, or you can download the Request Form in Acrobat PDF format (requires Adobe Acrobat).
