The Office of News/Media Relations & Strategic Communications produces a variety of publications, including student recruitment materials, The UVa-Wise Magazine, and other brochures, posters and specialty items used to promote special events.
Web Communications
The Office of News/Media Relations & Strategic Communications oversees the content of the official UVa-Wise website, manages the College's official social networking initiatives (e.g., Facebook and Twitter), and produces directed messages for an online audience.
Media Requests
The Office of News/Media Relations & Strategic Communications works daily with media outlets to publicize all aspects of UVa-Wise, including research, initatives and events.
We also respond to media requests for information, story ideas and faculty experts. To make a request, contact us at 276-376-1027 during normal business hours.
