Division of Student Affairs

Life at the University of Virginia's College at Wise extends far beyond the classroom. Exciting athletic events, vibrant theatre and musical productions, and a variety of clubs and organizations all contribute to the rich UVa-Wise experience. 

The Division of Student Affairs is composed of several units — athletics, bookstore, campus ministries, campus police, center for student development (career, counseling & health services), dean of students, facilities management, greek life, housing & residence life, intramurals & outdoor recreation, multi-cultural affairs, and student activities— working together to offer student's a wealth of extracurricular activities that support the academic experience.

The Division of Student Affairs mission is to provide services, programs, facilities, and learning opportunities that enhance the academic experience of the student and encourage intellectual, physical, cultural, moral, and social growth to augment individual development.
