Student Activities
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Office of Student Activities at UVa-Wise is to support and complement the College’s academic mission and enhance the educational experience of students through exposure to programs and activities that promote intellectual, cultural, social, recreational, and personal growth. The Office of Student Activities is committed to providing leadership opportunities and sponsoring and supporting programs which enhance a sense of community on campus, foster recognition and appreciation of different cultures, and facilitate and nurture a collective sense of purpose. We strive to assist students in developing an appreciation for diversity, accountability for self learning, and the critical thinking and pragmatic skills necessary to become life long learners and knowledgeable and responsible citizens of our global community.

UVA-WISE CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
There are more than 40 officially-recognized student organizations at UVa-Wise. These organizations represent the varied interests of our student body and range from athletic clubs and special interest organizations to honor societies, fraternities and sororities.

GET INVOLVED...STUDENT ACTIVITIES BOARD
The Student Activities Board (SAB) is the group of students who are responsible for the planning and implementation of student activities programs and events each year. They are involved in all aspects of coordinating campus events which include movie nights, comedians, singer/songwriters, inflatables, and more!
