Usage Numbers for the C. Bascom Slemp Student Center

Usage numbers are calculated at the end of each month. Administrative events are events scheduled for faculty, staff and the Office of Special Events (department meetings, staff meetings, conferences, etc.). Student events are events scheduled by students, clubs and organizations, Greek Life, etc. Outside events are events scheduled by community members (birthday parties, wedding receptions, holiday parties, etc.).

Numbers are calculated three different ways. Usage Numbers for the month are collected from the beginning through the end of the previous month. Usage Numbers for the Fiscal Year track numbers from the previous July to the current month. Monthly numbers are applied to the "building opening" sheet. The building was opened in October 2003. A cumulative total has been recorded since the Student Center first opened it's doors.

Fitness Center, Game Room and Racquetball Court numbers are collected from a sign-in sheet, located on the 3rd floor of the Slemp Student Center. All other numbers are collected by a reservation process.
